Obama’s disapproval ratings

With President Obama in North Carolina today, it is worth noting his approval rating in other polls. Or, perhaps more accurately, his disapproval rating. (In the Elon University Poll, 48 percent of North Carolina residents disapprove of his performance; 45 approve.)

Gallup: 48 percent disapprove; 43 percent approve.

Rasmussen: 51 disapprove; 48 approve

NBC/Wall Street Journal: 45 disapprove; 50 approve

High Point University: 52 percent disapprove; 42 approve

Quinnipiac: 49 percent disapprove; 45 approve

But as this polling roundup chart at Huffington Post shows — and the Elon University Poll confirms in North Carolina — his approval ratings are trending up.
