The verdict seems to be in on the Republican National Convention. No bounce for Gov. Romney. “Several new polls show that in the immediate days after the Republican National Convention, Mitt Romney, the Republican presidential nominee, did not see much of a boost to his campaign, although slightly more Americans now see him as someone who can understand the needs of the middle class.”
The same is trending for the Democratic National Convention. “So far, U.S. President Barack Obama has not received much of a bounce yet in popular support from the Democratic National Convention, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found on Thursday.”
But it’s still early, even though this is the last day of the DNC. The online poll was taken after the first lady’s speech, but before former President Clinton’s. President Obama addresses the convention and the nation tonight.
