Afghanistan — Americans are ready to get troops out, according to a CBS/New York Times poll. The survey found that more than two-thirds of those polled — 69 percent — thought that the United States should not be at war in Afghanistan.
Nuclear power — Gallup finds that 57% of Americans favor using nuclear energy as a source for electricity, and, thankfully, the same percentage thinks it is safe.
Economy — Economic confidence is now by one point at the highest weekly level Gallup has recorded since it started daily tracking of confidence in January 2008.
Health care — The Pew Research Center pulls together several recent polls pertaining to the Affordable Care Act. Conclusion: They all pretty much say that Americans are divided on the benefits.
